How to choose
Choose an image editor around the work you do: photo retouching, digital painting or quick corrections. Adobe Photoshop is a paid option; the catalog also includes GIMP, Krita and Paint.NET with different workflows and license terms.
For existing projects, check layers, masks, fonts and plugins using a copy of a real file. Support for an extension does not guarantee that every effect will remain editable. Large canvases and many layers can also change the hardware requirements of your task.
