About OBS Studio
OBS Studio is the standard free tool for screen recording and live streaming. You build scenes from windows, cameras and overlays, mix audio sources, and stream to any RTMP service or save high-quality recordings locally.
After recording in OBS Studio, open the video in Shotcut if you need to trim mistakes, arrange scenes or add transitions. This separates recording from the later editing work.
