About VEGAS Pro
VEGAS Pro is the current name of the editor many users still search for as Sony Vegas. The 2026 product is developed by Boris FX. It supports timeline editing, video effects and export to common formats. A license is required after the trial.
If you need timeline editing without paying for a VEGAS Pro license, compare it with Shotcut. Try editing and exporting a short clip first, since available effects and project formats differ.
