How to choose
If you remember a filename or part of it, Everything helps locate files on Windows. Compare search tools by indexing behavior, filters and the drives they cover; filename search and full-text search are different tasks.
After finding a file, check its full path before opening or deleting it. Backups and downloads can have identical names. On a large collection, indexing takes resources, and external drives may need separate configuration or to be connected.
